Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) has unveiled its brand new Private Collection – a curated selection of 76 private SLH villas and accommodations across 28 countries – with the debut of Salvatore Ferragamo’s newly opened Florentine countryside escape, Viesca Toscana, and the just-opened French beachside Château Le Nessay. While these two villas in Italy and France make their introduction within the Private Collection, they are also debuting as two of 13 new SLH members added to its global portfolio of boutique hotels.
SLH Reveals the Private Collection
These 76 handpicked SLH villas span Japan, Thailand, Australia, Europe, Africa, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and then some. The Private Collection offers the privacy of a standalone villa with all of the perks and services of a boutique hotel. An SLH lodging option that organically encourages longer stays and a slower pace of travel, these spacious villas meet the growing demands of travelers interested in private accommodations, group holidays, and multigenerational travel. This newly unveiled collection even caters to the digital nomad, who will now easily identify villa options via SLH that offer work-friendly amenities and are spacious enough for families and groups.
The Private Collection
Formerly the renowned Ferragamo family’s summer home, Viesca Toscana is a countryside estate including a rural 16th century manor house with 14 rooms and suites and a family cottage tucked into the rolling hills of Tuscany. As part of SLH’s Private Collection, Viesca Toscana also features classically-adorned, standalone villas that pair modern comforts with a peaceful oasis of private freshwater pools, gardens, and beautifully crafted furnishings, complete with wellness offerings and authentic Italian cuisine created by Tuscan-born and bred chef Andrea Campani.
Le Nessay is a brand-new laid-back Breton retreat located on the Emerald Coast of France. As a member of the Private Collection, this 17-room clifftop château with a standalone private cottage offers French vintage glamour, unspoilt beaches, an indulgent luxury spa, and serves fresh oysters and other mouthwatering local seafare delicately crafted into gourmet dishes by Chef Thomas Estrader.
SLH Also Adds 11 More Boutique Hotels to its Portfolio
In addition to welcoming Viesca Toscana and Le Nessay to SLH and The Private Collection, SLH also reveals 11 other boutique hotels to its portfolio. Making its first foray into the ecological marvels of Langkawi, Malaysia, SLH also fortifies its presence in Mexico, across Europe and beyond with these new boutique hotel members.
