Sofitel Opens Luxury Hotel in Turkmenistan

The hotel features 299 rooms, cutting-edge business amenities, three unique restaurants and a health and fitness center. Set in downtown Ashgabat, the hotel's contemporary look reflects the renaissance of Turkmenistan. The entrance to the Sofitel Ashgabat Oguzkent greets guests with a fountain and a monumental 12-story atrium. The hotel’s 299 rooms include 48 suites: 10 Junior Suites of 105 m2, 24 Prestige Suites of 160 m2 and 14 Presidential Suites of 325 m2, each with a name that refers to the country's history.
