Just opened in May of 2021, The Spa at 45 Park Lane is a 10,000 sq. ft state-of-the art space designed by Jouin Manku, the visionary team behind Marrakech grand dame La Mamounia, Van Cleef & Arpels flagship stores, and the new Air France lounge at Charles de GaulleFeaturing the longest indoor pool on Park Lane as well as a personal training room, an expansive gym, a relaxation room with an open fireplace and menu of healthy dishes by 45 Park Lane’s Executive Chef Jamie Shears, and spa treatments by Valmont and Aromatherapy Associates, the Spa at 45 Park Lane evokes feelings of calmness and tranquility, and has been specifically created to bring a sense of the outside in. An artistic floral mosaic, created by Venetian artists using traditional Roman-style tiles, provides a stunning backdrop to the pool; additionally, natural woods and light-colored stone bring a sense of calm and tranquility, while timber slatted ceilings have been integrated to create an ideal acoustics experience within the pool, gym, and relaxation lounge.
The Beverly Hills Hotel Spa (Los Angeles, CA) – February 2021
The Beverly Hills Hotel’s new spa, designed by visionary Alexandra Champalimaud, evokes a sense of serenity while maintaining the playful attitude and chic sensibility of the hotel itself. Inspired by the flora and fauna of California, each of the spa’s treatment rooms are covered in unique custom-created wall covering from Fromental, which continues through to the reception, nail treatment room, and relaxation lounge spaces where the hotel’s signature banana leaves have been layered into the design of the wall covering.
New spa features include four treatment rooms for body and facial therapies, as well as one duet suite; a nail suite with two pedicure chairs and a manicure area; a relaxation room for guests to enjoy before treatments; steam showers in the locker rooms; new treatment tables with warming heaters and a comfortable cushioning system; and a relocated reception area for a more private and dignified guest experience.
