This year The Merrion is offering two experiences, specially designed for guests to the city to enjoy the very best of the celebrations – ‘The Full Shamrock' and ‘The Merrion Shamrock.'

And for guests unable to be in Dublin on St Patrick's Day itself, ‘The Merrion Shamrock' is available throughout March – combining a deeply comfortable overnight stay with a Black Velvet cocktail on arrival, and a private three-hour ‘In The Footsteps of St Patrick' walking tour of Dublin created by Irish author and historian Pat Liddy.

Pat and his team are Dublin experts, who will lead guests of The Merrion through the city's winding streets, unveiling hidden gems and historical sites, including the two great medieval cathedrals of St Patrick's and Christ Church. The tour will bring Dublin to life with tales of architecture, history and its most renowned residents - there is no better way to discover Dublin.
