Nestled in the heart of the majestic snow-covered Rocky Mountains and a paradise for winter travelers, The Hythe, a Luxury Collection Resort, Vail announced a new lineup of memorable experiences, from culinary offerings to exciting meet-and-greets, performances and more. Holidays at the Hythe will include:

  • Aviator Nation Pop-Up: Shop the popular clothing brand at the resort’s inviting Aprés Deck. from 2-6 p.m. on December 16 and 17 and check holiday gifts off of your list for family, friends and even yourself.
  • Ice Skating Show: Lively 15-minute ice performances featuring world, international, Team USA skaters and seasoned professionals. December 17, 22 at 5 and 6 p.m. in Lionshead Village
  • Dine with the Dogs: You’re invited to have an early lunch and meet members of Vail Ski Patrol and their avalanche dogs. Located at Henry’s Hut at the top of Mountain Top Express (Chair #4). December 18, 25; January 1 from 10:30-11:10 a.m.
  • 10th Mountain Legacy Parade: Skiers dressed in traditional 10th Mountain Division Ski Trooper uniforms perform a Torchlight Ski Down, followed by a parade of military veterans and fireworks. December 30 at 7 p.m. Gondola one.
  • Silent Disco: Enjoy music to the beat of your own drum. Switch between different genres and songs and soak in the charms of Vail. December 16, 23, 31 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. in Lionshead Village
  • Epicurean Cheese Ritual: Inspired by the Swiss tradition, the 300-year-old Chästeilet ceremony celebrates the sharing of the season’s cheese bounty. We invite you to share the pleasure of freshly-melted cheese with us. December 16, 22, 23, 29, 30 from 3-4 p.m. in the lobby.
  • Astronomy Night: A fun exploration of the night sky led by a professional astronomer. December 23, 30 from 6-8 p.m. in Lionshead Village

Travelers can also decorate ornaments and cookies, partake in Hanukkah crafts, expect visits to the resort from Santa, reindeer and carolers, enjoy a live DJ at Revel Lounge and live music from local Vail musicians, and indulge in daily complimentary s’mores and hot cocoa. Lastly, the resort will offer a Christmas buffet as well as a New Year’s Eve champagne toast, dinner and fireworks to ring in 2023.
