Spend Winter in Wine Country with New Holiday Offerings from Carneros Resort and Spa

Carneros Resort and Spa – the 28-acre luxury resort nestled in Napa Valley’s picturesque wine region of Carneros – announced a new lineup of exceptional programming to set the scene for a memorable holiday getaway. Guests can spend the most joyful season in one of the resort’s idyllic private cottages and celebrate with Christmas dining experiences, traditional Hanukkah festivities, a New Year’s Eve package with tickets to the property’s spectacular event, and a variety of on-site activities to spread holiday cheer.

Luxury Cottages

With 420 square feet indoors and up to 800 square feet of outdoor space, Carneros’ individual cottages provide the perfect setting for the holidays. Guests can enjoy various luxury amenities, including cozy fireplaces, indoor-outdoor showers, outdoor fire pits, and in-room wine dispensers for contactless on-demand Napa Valley wine service. The Cozy Cottage Nights experience offers a fireside s’mores kit, a collection of classic board games, or a screen and pocket-sized projector for a holiday movie night.

Seasonal Dining

FARM, the resort’s signature seasonally driven restaurant, will welcome locals and guests with special holiday menus from Chef de Cuisine John Carney, including a flavorful a la carte Christmas Day brunch featuring classic holiday dishes with Napa Valley nuances, from prime rib and salmon en croute to eggs benedict. On Christmas Day and Christmas Eve, diners can savor the finest seasonal ingredients of the winter holiday with a gourmet four-course tasting menu. Families and friends can settle into the restaurant’s warm and inviting atmosphere and savor delicious Napa Valley fare to celebrate the season.

Guests and locals can also gather at Boon Fly Café, the property’s rustic roadside eatery, to celebrate the season with traditional brunch dishes and dinner favorites on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Maintaining its agriculture roots and as an extension of its existing farm-to-table program, Carneros Resort and Spa houses a culinary garden with 50 varieties of organic herbs and vegetables and fresh eggs from the resort’s chicken coop. The garden grants seamless access for the resort’s culinary team to showcase only the highest quality ingredients at its dining venues.

Festive Fun on Property

Carneros Resort and Spa is the ideal destination to revel in holiday merriment with a variety of on-site activities and events.

Hanukkah: Celebrate the Festival of Lights with a menorah lighting at the resort’s reception area every evening at sunset from December 18-26. Friends and family will gather around to recite the traditional Jewish blessings over the candles. Guests can also pick up a dreidel game activity kit, perfect for playing at the resort’s communal gathering tables or within the comfort and privacy of a cottage backyard.

Neighborhood Caroling: Guests can be immersed in the holiday spirit with neighborhood caroling at 5 p.m. on December 17 and 24. Caroling will begin by the Christmas tree in the town square – where house-made cookies and hot cider are offered nightly from 5-6 p.m. – followed by a leisurely stroll through the resort’s scenic Arbor walkway.

Do-it-Yourself Desserts: The resort will host cookie decorating from 4-5 p.m. on Saturdays at the reception area, where kids of all ages can let their imaginations run wild and delight in colorful candy décor and toppings for their sweet treats. Every Friday from 5-6 p.m., guests can also create their own hot cocoa to warm up their holidays using a variety of garnishes and flavor-infused whipped creams.
