St. Barts Restaurants, Bars and Hotels Open for 2018 Season
The tropical destination continues to thrive by offering guests world class villas, hotels, spas, fine dining and an array of cultural attractions – all of which are open for business!

The island is happy to announce that the following hotels are open and have already begun welcoming guests: The Sunset, Baie des Anges, Les Ilets de la Plage, Auberge de Terre Neuve, Tom Beach, Le Village St. Bart, Villa Lodge 4 Epices, Les Sucriers, Le Nid d’Aigle, Auberge Petite Anse, Fleur de Lune, Saline Garden and Petit Morne.

Hotels that are expected to reopen shortly include:

Additional hotels of note are expected to open as follows:

  • Emeraude Plage is expected to open November 2018

  • Les Ondines is planning to welcome guests December 2018

  • Les Mouettes will resume operations near the end of 2018


Signature resorts are scheduled to reopen as follows:

  • Villa Marie is planning to reopen in March 2018; St. Barts is pleased to announce the restaurant Francois Plantation has reopened and has begun welcoming guests.

  • Eden Rock is planning to reopen summer of 2018, however, Eden Rock-Villa Rental villas are open and have already begun welcoming guests.

  • Le Guanahani is planning to reopen summer 2018.

  • Hotel Le Toiny is planning to reopen April 2018, with the addition of their new villa product.

  • Hotel Barriere Carl Gustaf has no update available at this time.

  • Cheval Blanc Isle de France is planning to reopen in summer of 2018.

  • Le Barthélemy is planning to reopen in November 2018


Many of the island’s signature events have been held with tremendous success, such as the St. Bart Cata Cup, the Christmas Village and the St. Barts 2018 Music Festival. Lastly, renowned nautical events, such as the Bucket Regatta, Les Voiles de Saint-Barth and the 14th Annual Transat AG2R will all take place as scheduled.

Many of the restaurants and boutiques in the Port of Gustavia are open and guests can enjoy the Ti-punch at Le Select, a piña colada at L’Oubli, a mojito at 25 Quarter or caipirinha at Modjo as well as delicious dining at Casa, Ti St. Bart and Bagatelle.

Guests wishing to visit local cultural institutions and galleries will find an array of options available. Doors are open at the Territorial Museum, Théatre du Paradis, Le Petit Collectionneur Museum, Galerie Asie, Artists of St. Bart Gallery and Space Gallery.

In addition to the galleries, many of the island’s signature spas and adventure sport outfitters are booking for the upcoming season. Guests can make an appointment at Spa Venus, Spa l’Oasis, Beauty Secrets or Ocean Culture to relax and reinvigorate for the new year. Or, to eliminate those pesky toxins, visitors can enjoy a fitness class at Form Fitness, St. Bart Tennis Club or the Tennis ASCCO.

For those seeking adventure on the high seas, the island’s many nautical partners are ready to provide an unforgettable experience. Visitors should contact Serial Divers, St. Bart Plongée (Birdy), Big Blue, Plongée Caraibe, Jicky Marine, Master Ski Pilou, Splash, L’il’E, Patrick Laplace, St. Bart Sailor, St. Bart Yacht Club, Yellow Submarine, Carib Waterplay and Seabobn St. Bart. Those who prefer to stay land-bound, can join the team from Guide & Visit St. Bart Adventure who will take guests on a tour of the island via four-wheeler.

The Collectivity of St. Barts has created the St. Bart Foundation to receive donations for the benefit of the island.
