This summer the highly anticipated St. Moritz Celebrity Golf Cup returns to the heart of the Swiss Alps, all to support the Ryder Cup European Development Trust. The social sporting event of the season will take place from June 26-28, 2022, featuring a line-up of notable international names from the sports, film and entertainment industries.

This year, the event will close with a celebratory black-tie gala and auction at the renowned Badrutt’s Palace Hotel, of which all donations will go towards the Golfers for Ukraine initiative and the foundation of the boxing professional Wladimir Klitschko. Golfing enthusiasts can join the experience as the celebrity USA and European teams compete against one another at Switzerland’s oldest and most prestigious golf club; Engadine Golf Club. With former Scottish rugby player Tom Evans, former Manchester United football professional goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel, and Argentinian soccer icon Gabriel Batistuta, making up the European team, it is set to be a suspenseful game. Players of Team USA include former NFL wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald, who is considered to be one of the greatest receivers in history. Joining him is New York Yankees World Series Baseball Champion, Reggie Jackson and Canadian ice hockey player Joe Thornton..

After a hiatus in 2020 and 2021 due to COVID-19, the tournament is set to excite participants and support a great cause again. Those looking to make the most of the esteemed event will have the chance to be at the forefront of the action with opportunities to partake in the tournament during the day, as well as access to the evening events with Badrutt’s Palace Hotel’s exclusive participation package.
