St. Regis Mexico City Introduces New Spa Director & Treatments

The St. Regis Mexico City and Remède Spa, located on the 15th and 16th floors of the hotel with panoramic views of the city, announce Alejandra Ochoa as the new spa director. Ochoa brings nearly a decade of expertise to the hotel and will oversee the continued creation of inventive treatments and services unique to Mexico City and exclusive to St. Regis’ Remède Spa, starting with the launch of a menu comprised of anti-aging and slimming treatments in summer 2011

Ochoa comes to The St. Regis Mexico City most recently from Las Alcobas in Mexico City, where she served as spa director during the opening of the hotel. Ochoa has earned a variety of certifications and continued her education with participation in industry symposiums and courses. Ochoa began her spa and hospitality career as a massage therapist and esthetician at Hotel Ventaclub in Playa Maroma and The Ritz-Carlton, Cancun, where she was soon promoted to spa treatment coordinator and manager. Following her tenure at The Ritz-Carlton, Ochoa served as the assistant spa director at Rosewood Mayakoba in Playa del Carmen, where she helped to open the spa.

In keeping with the tradition of Remède Spa as cutting edge, Ochoa is unveiling several new anti-aging and body slimming treatments that feature LPG technology and use the Cellu M6 Integral.
