With the resort at the cultural heart of the Indonesian paradise island, the packages include a sumptuous meal at Uma's renowned Kemiri restaurant, a rejuvenating treatment at the holistic COMO Shambhala Retreat, daily breakfast and airport transfers to the celebrated COMO resort renowned for 'stylish escapism'.

To share the luck with in-house guests, a special 'Ang Pao' lucky red envelope per room will also be presented on the guests' arrival, with a gift voucher which is valid for Uma martini's, afternoon tea or set dinner for two at Kemiri. Kemiri is the signature restaurant of Uma Ubud next to a waterfall-fed pond, showcasing the various cooking techniques of Southeast Asia and utilizing the local and indigenous spices of Indonesia.

The two-night package for two, on offer up to January 31, is priced at US$630 for a Terrace Room. Alternatively, a Garden Room is US$670++, Uma Suite US$790++, Uma Pool Suite US$995++ and Shambhala Suite US$1,045++.

A three-night package, priced from US$965++ to US$$1,590++, is also available, including both three-course set lunch and dinner at Uma's Kemiri restaurant, and an additional opportunity to gain insights into the colourful local culture and landscape on a guided morning walk among the rice paddies, or sightseeing tour of the artisan town of Ubud.

To extend the festive season, Uma Ubud is offering an 'Early Spring package' for February and March 2009.

From February 1 to March 31, guests can stay 4 nights for the price of 3, with welcome drink on arrival, daily breakfast, scheduled yoga class and guided morning walk.

The package is applicable for new and advance bookings only, priced from US$735++ for a Terrace Room, with rates rising according to accommodation.

In Uma Ubud, the Terrace Rooms have garden terraces, Garden Rooms have private courtyards, Uma Pool Suites have infinity-edge pools and uninterrupted views across the valley and The Shambhala Suite has the largest infinity-edge pool and a private treatment area.

The COMO Shambhala Retreat is designed for guests seeking greater health through yoga and related treatments including meditation, reflexology and Asian-based therapies ranging from facials to sophisticated massages.

As with all COMO Hotels and Resorts, cuisine is a crucial element of the guest experience. Menus are based on well-sourced, seasonal ingredients from local suppliers with dishes showcasing Bali's rich gourmet heritage as well as other Asian cuisines.

Guests can also opt for COMO Shambhala cuisine, designed to maximise energy and wellbeing with raw, organic foods rich in living enzymes, vitamins and sea minerals. Blended nut milks replace cow's milk and genetically-tampered soy alternatives. Honey replaces processed sugars.

Guided introductions to Bali's culture include visits to Ubud's temples, galleries and museums, walks through the region's hinterland and local temple ceremonies.
