Sukhothai Bangkok Named Best in Hotel Thailand by Institutional Investor
In the findings, published in the magazine's current issue, The Sukhothai is also named third-best hotel in Asia and 11th-best hotel in the world. For this survey, Institutional Investor polled more than 100 senior financial executives from 29 countries who spent an average of 59 nights at hotels last year. In formulating the findings, the publication assigned greater weight to responses from the most frequent travelers. Results were averaged, and the top 100 hotels that made the cut were ranked.

To qualify for a listing in this annual survey, a hotel must receive a significant number of votes; even consistently well-rated hotels sometimes fail to secure the required minimum.

Additional awards for the hotel this year include a high rating in the Top 100 Hotels in Asia in the Condé Nast Traveler Readers' Choice Awards. The Sukhothai Bangkok was rated among Thailand's top hotels on the magazine's Gold List, and the on-site Spa Botanica was named on the Hot List. The Sukhothai Bangkok is a member of The Leading Hotels of the World.
