Summer Activities Abound at The St. Regis Deer Valley

The St. Regis Deer Valley, one of the most luxurious mountain resorts in the world, is a spectacular year-round destination with many exciting activities this summer.  From fantastic family vacations to romantic respites, the Resort is unmatched in its beauty, amenities and service, including 24-hour Butler Service.  And, summer rooms are available for a fraction of on-season rates.

Arrive at The St. Regis Deer Valley via the luxurious funicular, the only at a North American property, or via undulating drive with breathtaking views of the Jordanelle Reservoir.  The Resort, located just 35 miles from Salt Lake City International Airport, is just one mile from Park City's bustling main street, teeming with galleries, shops and boutiques.

New: Fire Garden Terrace: The most popular lunch, dinner and libation spot in Park City this summer is the new Fire Garden Terrace.  Located on the Resort’s infamous Mountain Terrace with its stunning views of the Wasatch Range and the best sunset vantage in Park City, the Fire Garden Terrace, with an Asian-inspired menu, is alfresco dining at its most vibrant.  The focal point is an actual Garden of Fire.  Every weekend and Wednesdays, the Fire Garden Terrace thrums with live music.

Award-Winning Dining:  The St. Regis Deer Valley is home to a diverse collection of dining venues including the Resort's signature restaurant RIME, serving pristinely prepared fresh seafood and sustainably sourced prime cuts in an elegant rustic setting; The Wine Vault houses the Resort's 10,000 bottle collection; Brasserie 7452, the light-filled French bistro; and La Stellina, a new Italian restaurant where fresh ingredients translate into sophisticated flavors.

Light Fare and Lively Libations: Enjoy light fare or sip a creative concoction from the Summer Cocktail Menu at the St. Regis Bar, with its massive triptych mural that depicts Park City’s mining history, or try the sleek Astor Bar.  Enjoy a personal Champagne Sabrage class or partake in the 7452 Bloody Mary Clinic to learn how to make the Resort's most popular cocktail, named for the Resort's elevation.

Activities Abound:  Daily Morning Guided Hikes for all levels depart from a trailhead on property, which connects to the 425 miles of Park City trails which are excellent for mountain biking and running.  On weekends, Sunset Hikes are held.  Yoga Classes are held three times a day at the St. Regis Spa, which is immediately adjacent to the 24-hour Athletic Club that features state-of-the-art equipment.  Pilates, Barre and HIIT classes are available.  Experience standup paddleboarding, waterskiing, kayaking or sailing on the Jordanelle Reservoir.  Or, try ziplining, a chairlift ride or a bobsled run at Utah Olympic Park (yes, even in summer!) using the same course as the XIX Winter Olympians.

Perfect Pool: The Resort's year-round two-tier outdoor heated infinity pool is especially popular in the summer, with its comfortable seating with mountain views and a food and beverage menu that appeals to every guest.  Dive-in Movies are held weekly and guests are encouraged to grab a raft or chaise lounge to watch a classic film.

Fantastic Family Fun: A great new Birds of Prey activity demonstrates the art of falconry.  Roaming Magicians perform astonishing tricks that delight.  For something more relaxing, try the daily Candle Crafting class.  Family Movie Nights are held on the Resort’s lush Grand Lawn, complete with freshly popped popcorn and lounge seating.  Lawn Games include Cornhole, Giant Jenga, Spike Ball, Giant Chess, supervised Axe-Throwing and Carnival Games.

Take the 90 second trip on the funicular from the Resort's Main Building to its Snow Park Building where family and friends can enjoy immersive virtual games from full golf courses and driving ranges to Zombie Dodgeball, Carnival Games and Hockey at the Topgolf Swing Suites.

The St. Regis Deer Valley has again partnered with Swaner Preserve & EcoCenter to avail wildlife experiences to Resort guests.  Walks with a Naturalist that explore wetlands, a rock-climbing wall and the EcoCenter are featured.  A family favorite is visiting the Park City Museum on Main Street, where the colorful mining history of Park City can be discovered.

Daily Traditions: The nightly Champagne Sabering Tradition, held every evening at dusk, invites guests to witness the sabering of a bottle of the bubbly with a real saber and enjoy a complimentary flute of champagne.  The nightly Family S’mores Tradition encourages guests of every age to design their own decadent treats around the Astor Terrace fire pit.
