The Dorchester, London

Putting a modern twist on the traditional cream tea, The Dorchester's Ice Cream Tea includes home-made ice creams in four quintessentially English flavours - Elderflower sorbet, Cox apple, English honey and Earl Grey tea - served on a perspex arch in miniature cones. Ice Cream Tea at The Dorchester is available from August 1 to August 31 at five sittings each day, and is priced from £55 per person.

Prep your skin for a perfect summer glow with Beach Ready by Kerstin Florian from The Dorchester Spa and The Spa at Coworth Park, including a complimentary Kerstin Florian Sun Protection cream and Lavender Body Spray. The two luxury hotels are offering a summer spa package where guests can choose from two different body treatments (the Spirulina Detox Wrap or the Moor Mud Experience) followed with a Sublime Prescription Facial. Kerstin Florian products are based on natural resources including plant extracts, protein rich algae and thermal mineral water. Beach Ready is priced at £190 and is available Monday to Thursday until September 22, 2014 (excluding Bank Holidays) at The Dorchester Spa and The Spa at Coworth Park.

Coworth Park, Ascot

Dorchester Collection's luxury country house hotel in Ascot, Coworth Park, has introduced five-day Pony Camps for young equestrian enthusiasts aged four to 13 years. To be held on August 18-22, the fun-filled camps are designed to introduce young ones to horsemanship and the equestrian world in a safe and relaxed environment, and are open to both resident and non-resident youngsters. On the Saturday of the extended summer camp, there will be a competition for children, with prizes. Parents, friends and family are welcome to come along and support their children. The five-day camp costs£600.

Coworth Park celebrates the upcoming summer with this year's launch of a Meadow Tea in The Drawing Room. Providing a summery update on traditional afternoon tea, pastries and an exclusive fragrant hand-blended tea are inspired by flowers that grow on the estate and the view of Coworth Park's famous wildflower meadow from the Drawing Room windows. Pastries are accompanied by estate grown elderflower cordial, a selection of finger sandwiches and scones, and complemented by seasonal homemade compotes. The Meadow Tea will be served until September 31, 2014, at 2:30pm and 4:45pm, priced at £29 per person or £42.50 per person for Champagne Meadow Tea, excluding service charge.

This summer, find 'Perfect Peace' at The Spa at Coworth Park. Surrounded by Royal Berkshire parkland, the eco-luxury spa is offering a tranquil mid-week escape from city life, including accommodation, spa access, smoothies and a massage. For the ultimate detox, guests can leave their mobile devices at the hotel, in order to enjoy the spa in peace. The 'Perfect Peace' package is valid until December 31, 2014 and costs £415.

45 Park Lane, London

Dorchester Collection's contemporary Mayfair hotel, 45 Park Lane, is turning up the heat for British summertime with new rooftop BBQ's from legendary chef Wolfgang Puck for guests of the Penthouse Suite. Perched on the suite's wraparound terrace looking out onto panoramic views over Hyde Park, guests will have their own private host on hand to handle every request.

The sizzling menu will offer BBQ favourites, cooked up by the hotel's leading chefs, with a CUT twist such as BBQ shrimp poppers served with jalapeno honey, beef skewers with Thai peanut sauce and BBQ chicken wings with spicy honey mustard. BBQ's can be arranged for lunch and dinner events and are only available to guests staying in the Penthouse Suite.

Rates for the Penthouse suite start from £8,995 per night including VAT and prices for the BBQ start from £60 per person.

45 Park Lane has also introduced a special Steak and Salad Menu at CUT providing a delicious light and nutritious option for the summer months. The menu includes a 28-day aged 6oz filet mignon steak with choice of various salads including hearts of romaine Caesar salad with creamy garlic vinaigrette; burrata, prosciutto di Parma, pear compote and micro basil; and butter lettuce salad, avocado, Shropshire blue cheese, champagne-herb vinaigrette.

CUT at 45 Park Lane provides a perfect location for London summer dining with floor to ceiling glass windows looking onto Hyde Park. The Steak and Salad Menu is available Monday to Saturday until September 30, 2014 and is priced at £34.

Le Meurice, Paris

In preparation for the 180th anniversary of the hotel, Dorchester Collection's Le Meurice has launched its new 'Parisian Secrets' package. Centrally located in the cultural heart of Paris, Le Meurice offers guests the opportunity to unlock the secrets of Paris with this package, which includes a tour of the city with a private guide. An expert on the history of Paris will share secrets of hidden boulevards, as well as some of the city's most well-known landmarks. The 'Parisian Secrets' package is priced from €1,322 and is subject to availability until May 31, 2015.

The 2014 Meurice Prize for Contemporary Art launched at Le Meurice with a high profile panel of international judges from the world of art, including the winner of last year's prize, Neil Beloufa, and Franka Holtmann, general manager of Hotel Le Meurice. Created in 2008, the Prize for Contemporary Art has a €20,000 endowment and aims to nurture up-and-coming talent in order to support them on an ever-competitive international stage. Six finalists will compete in the final which will take place at Le Meurice on October 9, 2014.

Hôtel Plaza Athénée, Paris

In keeping with Dorchester Collection's continuous investment in taking the luxury experience to new levels, the iconic hotel is undergoing a partial restoration to integrate additional buildings and will officially reopen on September 1, 2014 with a soft opening in August. The hotel is adding six new guest rooms, eight additional suites, a ballroom and two event spaces to offer five event rooms in total.

The interior decoration of the suites is being led by Marie-José Pommereau who previously completed the redesign of other suites including the hotel's Royal Suite in 2012. Similar to her earlier projects, Pommereau will blend contemporary features with Parisian tradition in harmony with the vibrancy of the hotel and its fashionable location. The Alain Ducasse au Plaza Athénée restaurant and Le Bar is being redesigned by the Paris-based Jouin-Manku agency, and Bruno Moinard is responsible for La Galerie, La Cour Jardin and Le Relais Plaza as well as the event rooms.

Le Richemond, Geneva

Le Richemond is unveiling enhancements throughout the hotel including its meeting rooms, the gastronomic restaurant, Le Jardin, and its spa, which recently introduced acclaimed French skincare brand Sisley. Le Jardin offers Mediterranean cuisine by head chef Sylvain Bailly and his assistant Philippe Bourrel, who were both trained by three Michelin-star chef Alain Ducasse. Having recently been included in the acclaimed Gault & Millau 2014 Swiss guide, Le Jardin offers a menu based on local and fresh seasonal produce and a special 'Menu Degustation' from CHF 98. The hotel has also recently appointed Sebastien Quazzola as the new head pastry chef.

Hotel Principe di Savoia, Milan

With family in mind, Dorchester Collection's Hotel Principe di Savoia has introduced its 'Bambino Package' turning Milan into a playground for its younger guests. The hotel's impeccable concierge extends its services to little VIPs, offering special menus for children, in-hotel activities, as well as the option of pre-booking city-centric entertainment for the ultimate Milanese family break. Activities include the newly opened MUBA children's museum, the Sforzesco Castle, Milan's most significant monument in the Lombardy region; and for a true visionary delight, a rainbow of over 150 different marine and freshwater species can be seen at Milan's Acquario Civico, one of the oldest aquariums in the world.

Hotel Eden, Rome

Located in the heart of the Old City of Rome, Hotel Eden is Dorchester Collection's most recent addition. A short stroll from the legendary Spanish Steps and picturesque Villa Borghese, this elegant city oasis dates back to 1889 welcoming royalty, dignitaries and numerous celebrities throughout its illustrious history. Famed for its rooftop restaurant, diners enjoy spectacular views of the majestic St Peter's Dome and further across the Eternal City. This July, Hotel Eden will offer a special selection of homemade ice-cream for children and adults alike. Chef Fabio Ciervo has created five flavours including a soy ice-cream for those who are more health conscious, and a tiramisu ice-cream for those who seek a more Italian touch.

The Beverly Hills Hotel

The Beverly Hills Hotel has unveiled a few more of its new rooms and suites, part of the last phase of its restoration programme led by Adam D. Tihany, which feature sophisticated palettes and integrated technology, adding luxury and relevance to the guest experience. An additional 20 to 35 rooms will have undergone a restoration by the end of the year. The thoughtfully-crafted enhancement honours the original patina of The Beverly Hills Hotel, restoring and polishing its iconic design elements and reflecting Southern California's celebrated lifestyle. The hotel lobby, Polo Lounge and famed pool, cabanas, and Cabana Café have all been enhanced, whilst the signature red-carpet entrance, C.W. Stockwell-designed banana leaf wallpaper, green and white stripes, and famous pink exterior remain constants.

This summer, The Beverly Hills Hotel will be adding a splash of fun to its unique poolside experiences with new summer cocktails, including the Pimm's Cup 1912 and Hotel California; as well as added service enhancements, with sunglass cleaning, cucumber-infused face towels and mini smoothies offered on a complimentary basis throughout the day.

Dorchester Collection's The Beverly Hills Hotel and Hotel Bel-Air have recently introduced 'The Beverly Hills and Bel-Air Balance programmes', a bespoke wellness offering for hotel and La Prairie spa guests. As part of a broad collaboration with the lifestyle agency Yada Yada Yoga, the hotels will help guests get fit, feel good and have fun by working one-on-one with a team of fitness coaches and nutritional specialists. Each hotel can either offer a half day or a full day programme with private sessions which can be customised for all fitness levels.

Whether guests are looking for a romantic wedding location, a honeymoon paradise, or to celebrate a special anniversary, Hotel Bel-Air offers the ultimate in romantic experiences. The spectacular floral landscape blooms year-round and features a 100-year old Sycamore tree as well as picturesque arches, bridges and gazebos. Scenic Swan Lake, winding lush gardens, private guestroom patios, and indoor and outdoor fireplaces set the stage for an unforgettable visit.
