La Réserve and Tesla Motors have entered into an exclusive partnership making the hotel the only one in the world to have a fleet of FIVE Tesla Roadsters. Visitors can enjoy the world’s fastest electric sports car, zooming from zero to 60 in 3.7 seconds, remarkably all while remaining totally silent. No roar of acceleration; no puttering of exhaust.

Thrill-seekers can put the pedal to the metal with the Tesla Break package, which includes a two-night stay for two and a full-day's use of the sports car. Or, the car can be rented for the day, perfect for a quick trip to Montreux (head to the Chateau de Chillon for the best views) or the medieval village of Gruyeres (say cheese!). Rates for the two-night offer begin at 1,850 (about $2,294) for a Superior Room; day rates start at 790 CHF (about $984).

Tesla Motors, Inc., the Silicon Valley-based company designs, manufactures, and sells electric vehicles (EVs) and electric vehicle powertrain components. It is currently the only automaker building and selling a zero-emission sports car in serial production. The company is named after the electrical engineer and physicist Nikola Tesla. The Tesla Roadster, the company’s first vehicle, is the first production automobile to use lithium-ion battery cells and the first production EV with a range greater than 200 miles per charge. The Tesla Roadster uses an AC motor descended directly from Nikola Tesla's original 1882 design.

La Réserve Genève is home to some of Jacques Garcia's most famous interior designs.
