The Adventure Center at The Little Nell is Now Open in Aspen

The Little Nell's Five Star, Five Diamond services and amenities play a part in every outing - our knowledgeable adventure concierges are your guides and the talented culinary team at element 47 provides your picnics and provisions.

Highlights this summer include the following:

Jeep Tours – Our most popular outings of all are offered as 2-, 4- and 6-hour off-road tours in deluxe Jeep Rubicons. New this year are Sunrise and Sunset Trips. Depending on the tour, you'll ascend Aspen Mountain's Summer Road to peer out over town or towards the Continental Divide, traverse butterfly-inducing ridge lines, ride along the shore of crystal blue lakes or through the middle of a forgotten ghost town. Routes up Independence Pass and into the backcountry are also available. All tours include picnic or boxed lunch selections.

Stargazing – Also new this year, our adventure concierge and an astronomy expert will be your guides on these nighttime Jeep tours to see meteor showers, shooting stars, quarter moons and constellations. State-of-the-art binoculars will be provided as you enjoy dessert, Champagne and learning more about the night sky. Offered as part of our “Richmond Ridge Romance Package” or independently based on availability.

Fly-Fishing - Whatever your skill level, we'll customize a fishing trip with our team of experienced guides on the Roaring Fork River, the Frying Pan or any number of private Gold Medal waters throughout the Valley. The Little Nell also has an exclusive arrangement with T-Lazy-7 Ranch to fish their ponds stocked with rainbow trout. Our guides will teach you how to read the water, use professional casting techniques and how to present your fly or lure most attractively to hook rainbows, brookies and browns. All trips include fully customizable gourmet snacks or picnic lunches, with or without wine and beer pairings.

Cycling - The Little Nell's second annual “Clip in with Christian” VIP cycling experience takes place from August 17-20. Coinciding with Colorado's USA Pro Challenge, guests will get to ride Aspen's most scenic routes, enjoy VIP access to Stages 3 and 4 of the race, wine and dine with The Little Nell and much more. This bespoke biking experience is led by Christian Vande Velde, the 2012 USA Pro Challenge champion, alongside his friends and former pros George Hincapie and Craig Lewis. Aspen Mountain Yoga - Nestled in the heart of the Rockies, Aspen Mountain provides the perfect natural setting for scenic hikes, outdoor adventures, relaxation and rejuvenation. Aspen Mountain Yoga is one of our most popular programs of the season, held at the top of Ajax. The hour of open-air Hatha yoga, led by Aspen's Shakti Shala studio, is free with the purchase of a gondola foot passenger ticket. Offered Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. from June 22 –August 28. Reservations are required – please call 970.923.1227.

Family Adventures - All of our above adventures can be customized for families or kids. For even more options, take part in the Perfect Summer Package on Aspen Mountain and/or Snowmass. With the purchase of a gondola pass, enjoy free amenities at the top of Aspen Mountain including hiking trails, disc golf, naturalist hikes, live music on weekends and more.

Additional Adventures - Roll through town on one of our complimentary cruisers for adults or on kids' bikes. Hiking, downhill biking, rock climbing, paragliding, horseback riding and more can also be arranged by our adventure concierges with our outside vendors.
