The Berkeley recently debuted The Apartment, a striking new signature suite designed by John Heah. Set in the quiet south-east corner of The Berkeley, complete with spacious private terrace, The Apartment feels like a private residence in the heart of Knightsbridge. Morning light filters through the stained glass in the hallway, playing off the mirrored walls. Calm and sleek, The Apartment opens into a light, airy space infused with John Heah’s distinctive ultra-modern style. The 2,799 sq. ft. suite features a seamless design connecting spaces with exciting decorative finishes including mirrored walls and a Zebrano wood corridor. Sliding doors mean this two-bedroom suite can be kept open throughout or transformed into a series of private spaces. The Mews Terrace at Claridge’s

Claridge’s, the legendary hotel in the heart of Mayfair recently unveiled The Mews Terrace where Bryan O’Sullivan celebrates the hotel’s signature Art Deco language. Boasting views of legendary landmarks in every direction, the Mews Terrace delivers a true sense of place. Designed by BOS Studio, each detail tells a story from the polished burr veneer and custom-made joinery which carry through from lobby to dining room to the Murano pendant suspended above the mahogany dining table. Fireplaces in the living area and master bedroom bear the Claridge’s insignia on custom inlays while striking rugs inspired by Christian Berard introduce a dash of theater, and Italian glass lamps illuminate the way. The Mews Terrace also features a floor-to-ceiling marble bathroom, a grand piano, an original mahogany dining table for six with hand-embroidered chair detailing, and an in-suite bar.
