Meet The Dylan’s Signature Suites

The Jacob van Campen Suites, are characterized by 20 feet high ornament ceilings and classic floor-to-ceiling windows welcoming a haven of light and canal views. Named after the renowned 17th century Dutch architect Jacob van Campen, the two signature suites within the Serendipity room collection, marry historical elegance and contemporary flare featuring a bronze chandelier, cast iron staircase, and elaborate styling.

Named after the 20th century Welsh poet after whom the hotel is also named, The Dylan Thomas Suite is the centerpiece of the Loxura room collection. The suite is characterized by a unique combination of colorful and plush furniture in the sitting area, the signature drinks cabinet, a silver-leaf make-up table, and Loxura-style king bed flanked by antique closets facing oversized shuttered windows opening to the hotel’s inner garden.

Situated directly on the “Keizersgracht,” one of Amsterdam’s most famous and picturesque canals which were declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2010, The Dylan is located in the center of the famed shopping district “de negen straatjes” (the nine streets) featuring galleries, antique shops, boutiques, bars and restaurants. Only a stroll away from the city’s main attractions, The Dylan makes it easy for guests to discover historic and cultural venues such as the Anne Frank House, Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum, Stedelijk Museum, and the famous Flower Market, and then return to the intimate atmosphere and personal service of the hotel.
