The announcement was made in SCOREGolf's summer issue which features their pick of Canada's Top 59 Public Courses. This issue marks the first time SCOREGolf has published rankings limited to public and resort golf courses. The selections were made based upon the feedback of SCOREGolf's panel of golf experts, using the same criteria as SCOREGolf's Top 100 rankings. The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge's sibling course – the Stanley Thompson designed course at The Fairmont Banff Springs – was ranked 3rd in the country, as well.
