The resort was among the top hotels to win a spot in the Orbitz Best of Stay List of top accommodations worldwide. The online travel company culled 200,000 hotel reviews and polled numerous travel experts to create the list that ranks the best hotels in 75 destinations.

In addition to this international distinction, The Lodge at Torrey Pines garnered another prestigious award when it was named by Condé Nast Traveler as one of the top 20 resorts in Southern California, as part of its recent Readers' Choice Award competition.

The final award was bestowed by Andrew Harper's legendary Hideaway Report revealing the 2012 Reader Survey, Top 20 Lists. The Lodge at Torrey Pines was chosen as a Favorite Golf Resorts winner in the survey.

“The fact that the Lodge at Torrey Pines consistently garners major international awards is a testimony to its stellar reputation as one of San Diego's most prestigious resorts, and we are obviously quite proud to be among the world's best,” said General Manager Dan Fullen.
