The Peninsula New York Offers Frieze New York Private Collector's Experience

The Peninsula New York Offers Frieze New York Private Collector's Experience
Taking place on Randall's Island on May 5-8, 2016, the art fair will exhibit over 1,000 contemporary and modern galleries from top artists around the globe, housed in a bespoke temporary structure installed exclusively for the fair.

The experience begins in advance of the guest's arrival with a professional consultation by an art consultant from Circa 1881, an initiative founded by private collectors to produce art programming and exhibitions of world-class contemporary art. This consultation will determine the guest's preferences in art, interests and goals, which will allow Circa 1881 to expertly curate a two-hour bespoke Private Collector's Experience tour at Frieze New York. On the day of the tour, the experience will include a bespoke selection of must-see installations among the more than 200 presenting galleries that align with each guest's preferences.

Travelers who book the Frieze New York Private Collector's Experience will receive the following:

  • One night stay at The Peninsula New York

  • Private Collector's Experience Tour at Frieze New York with an art consultation from Circa 1881 for up to four people

  • Complimentary one-way transfer from The Peninsula New York to Frieze New York

  • Art-themed Welcome Amenity

The fair's focus on contemporary artists is illustrated in Frieze Projects, New York, a series of artist commissions presented at the fair. The Private Collector's Experience with Circa 1881 will feature a selection of special projects by Alex Da Corte, Anthea Hamilton, David Horvitz, Eduardo Navarro, Heather Phillipson, along with a tribute to the Daniel Newburg Gallery with a project by Maurizio Cattelan. In addition, the private program will include insider information and access to the most talked about installations at the fair.

The Frieze New York Private Collector's Experience starts at $1,395 per night and can be booked using code ART2016 from Thursday, May 5 to Sunday, May 8, 2016.
