The Peninsula Hotels Launch 'Life Lived Best' Wellness Program

On April 1, The Peninsula Hotels will debut a next generation program, “Life Lived Best,” that elevates physical, mental, and nutritional well-being with amenities available at any time and at the touch of a button. The program lets guests select goals, such as increased strength, boosted energy, jet-lag relief and mindful rest.

Highlights of Life Lived Best include:

  • Plant Based Menus (all hotels):
    • Nutritional wellness comes with a reboot of “Naturally Peninsula,” the renowned brand’s health-conscious menu will offer vegan and plant-based options at all restaurants.
  • Best Sleep Ever (all hotels):
    • Aromatherapy experiences, featuring Ayurvedic products such as stomach sleep patches from Subtle Energies, include self-guided rituals that promote evening rest and morning energy.
    • Relaxing or invigorating spa-style baths, drawn by Peninsula wellness experts, use mineral-rich salts and aromatic or therapeutic essential oils from Subtle Energies.
  • Try Something Local (unique to each hotel):
    • Special fitness will be co-hosted by local partners and each hotel will host regularly scheduled workshops and talks with visiting local fitness experts to help guests expand their wellness routine and try something new. For example:
      • Locally curated and led fitness classes (Tai Chi in Hong Kong)
      • Chance to participate in local spiritual customs (giving alms to Buddhist monks in Bangkok)
      • Traditional local energy and healing spa treatments (Zen Balancing in Tokyo)
  • 24/7 Wellness with Portal & Concierge (all hotels):
    • Streamed to guests’ own personal devices or in-room TVs, the dedicated portal is home to virtual fitness programming as well as mindfulness programming. (The latter includes a new partnership with Breethe for guided meditations, relaxing bedtime stories and soothing music.)
    • Guests can connect with their 24-hour Wellness Concierge to have gear delivered to their room or communication their health goals to the hotel’s chefs, spa managers and fitness experts to ensure full personalization of services.
