The Resort at Longboat Key Club Unveils New Spa & Golf Course
The AAA Four-Diamond resort, situated on Longboat Key, has invested more than $4 million in a complete overhaul of its 9,000 square foot spa, upgrades to its Harbourside and Islandside championship golf courses and locker rooms, and new furniture for its restaurants and outdoor spaces.

The Spa's renovation, spearheaded by the Ocean Properties design team, boasts a complete refurbishment of the spa treatment rooms, locker rooms and restrooms, the creation of separate men's and ladies' relaxation rooms and the addition of a new retail boutique. The new color palette of soothing blue hues and neutral brown tones creates a tranquil and earthy vibe, intended to bring balance and a sense of relaxation for guests to unwind in optimum comfort surrounded by an island-inspired atmosphere.

Since July 2013, the resort has invested millions into its championship golf courses, including the conversion of 15 acres to paspalum grass at both Harbourside and Islandside courses, a complete renovation of all locker rooms and restrooms at Harbourside, the purchase of nearly 200 golf carts, and the addition of seven miles of new cart paths at both locations.

“Our golf courses and spa are some of what keeps our guests coming back year after year,” said General Manager Jeff Mayers. “We want to make sure that whether it's their first or 31st time at our resort, they're able to enjoy an enhanced and unparalleled experience. We are pleased that our ownership remains committed to creating an iconic destination as well as an unsurpassed experience for our guests.”

The resort is fully operational and welcoming guests to enjoy the upgraded facilities.
