The Retreat Costa Rica Perfect for a Healing & Wellness Getaway

The Retreat Costa Rica, a luxury wellness boutique resort perched on a high vibrational crystal mountain in Atenas, is the perfect post-COVID healing and reboot getaway destination. The Retreat is welcoming U.S. guests from the Northeast beginning September 1 as Costa Rica reopens its borders to air travelers from New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont and Connecticut

The brainchild of celebrity chef, bestselling author and health and wellness life coach Diana Stobo, the 13-room wellness retreat features the recently opened 8,000-square-foot Vida Mia Healing Center and Spa with its signature wellness programs, organic gardens, lush landscapes, farm-fresh cuisine and scenic poolside relaxation – all situated amidst 60 acres of an amazing rainforest overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Resort Enhancements

The Retreat Costa Rica emerges with new enhancements made during the border closure. Guestrooms – each named after the plants and superfoods grown at the resort – are refreshed with new paint, furnishings, décor and enhanced patios. A new “Crystal Room” greets guests in the lobby, providing a relaxed space to take in the amplified healing energy.

The Retreat’s signature pool now includes a 1,000-square-foot deck area over the mountain’s edge, accommodating 16 new lounge chairs and café tables for breakfast, lunch and sunset service. A new pergola protects poolside seating for relaxing rain or shine. And up at the Yoga House, a new 1,000-square-foot curtain pavilion is available for relaxation complete with all new lush outdoor seating.

A conference room has been added to The Retreat, equipped with spacious seating for 20 people. Its furnishings and décor convey a sense of “retreat,” and balance balls offer additional seating for comfort and wellness.

For guest shoppers, the resort’s new Galana Boutique features casual clothing, yoga and lounge wear, jewelry, crystals, body products, supplements, journals, artwork, special finds and relics from all over the world, featuring brands such as SITA Couture, Lovestitch, Olivaceous, Cosabella and Pour Les Femmes.
