On the site of the former Merkur Bank, the hotel's historical façade has been sensitively enhanced and conceals a sober and sensual interior. The modern blends sympathetically with the old: for example, the stucco of the "Ring Suite" and the listed lift, sit alongside an excellent flair of contemporary design.
