Available exclusively during the summer months, the resort-wide program offers guests a unique way to experience one of Colorado's natural wonders. From wildflower hikes led by resident naturalist Jackie Elder and wildflower infused spa treatments to specialty dishes in Spago and Garden Cocktail classes in Bachelors Lounge, The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch offers an authentic summer experience for guests of all ages.

Summer Wildflower Hike

Led by resident naturalist, Jackie Elder, this former park ranger takes guests of all ages on an outdoor expedition to explore the hundreds of wildflower varietals, including the Colorado state flower, the Rocky Mountain Columbine that can be spotted just steps outside of The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch. Offered complimentary each day at 10:00 a.m., guests will learn how to identify certain types of wildflowers, along with their characteristics and function.

Summer Kale Salad in Spago

Spago, the signature restaurant at The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch offers its seasonal Summer Kale Salad, which takes center stage with an array of edible wildflowers incorporated into this popular dish. Prepared with mountain blueberries, sunflower seeds and rich champagne-herb vinaigrette, the local wildflowers are carefully placed atop the dish and add a pop of summer color with delicious taste.

Garden Cocktail Class in Bachelors Lounge

The resort's Rocky Mountain speakeasy, Bachelors Lounge offers a seasonal Garden Cocktail class, allowing guests to select their fresh herbs and edible wildflowers for their hand crafted specialty drink of the evening. Guests will even learn how to make bitters and simple syrup needed for their wildflower cocktails!

Wildflower Infused Treatments

Mountain Spring Morning - This unparalleled outdoor wellness experience guests begin at 8 a.m. with a guided wildflower hike through scenic Bachelor Gulch. Following the invigorating morning hike is a rejuvenating outdoor private yoga session among the fields of wildflowers, and concludes with a 60 minute massage. For an enhanced spa journey, guests are encouraged to lounge by the alluring indoor grotto following the treatment.
