The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch Welcomes New Canine Ambassador

The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch Welcomes New Canine Ambassador
Weighing in at 32 pounds, this furry bundle of love will surely offer a warm welcome to hotel guests as the property reopens for the winter season on Thursday, November 19th.

Since arriving to the dog-friendly property just days ago, Bachelor has been spending his days and nights getting acquainted with Belle during which he has proven to be sweet-natured around other dogs, adults and children. The second largest of his liter, Bachelor will be much bigger than his predecessor, expected to reach 200 pounds; the prior “Bachelor” has relocated to northern California with his family. This soon to be “gentle giant” has been dubbed a lover and enjoys down time alongside his human friends. Bachelor is fully crate trained, is sleeping through the night and even enjoys the pleasures of doggy day dreaming. Already mastering “sit” with both verbal and hand cues, he is quickly moving on to “down” with the help of his favorite treat – beef flavored training bites. A few of Bachelors favorite things are:

- Snow – Many playdates in the snow by the Chair 16 ski lift have been enjoyed; he loves to bounce and jump around in the fresh Colorado powder.
- Sleeping - Bachelor sleeps the majority of the day at this point, finding his way into his crate or laying on his back.
- Games - Recently, he enjoyed a squeaky reindeer toy in a game of tug of war with Belle.

Hotel guests and their own furry friends can continue to meet both pup ambassadors during their stay with regular lobby visits and during guided hikes in Bachelor Gulch with resident Naturalist “Ranger Jackie”.
