In addition to interactive culinary events such as Manzanita’s Chef’s Table and Art of Mixology, and Ritz Kids programming including Dive-In Movies and Telescope Tuesdays, the resort will host special holiday-themed events in celebration of Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day that the whole family will enjoy.
Beginning Memorial Day weekend, guests have the opportunity to experience Lake Club, The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe. Located just ten miles from the resort, the Lake Club adds an extraordinary new dimension to The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe experience, providing resort guests with a unique, stunningly designed waterside venue and a host of amenities that include al fresco dining, leisure and water activities, and direct access to the famed Lake Tahoe.

Beginning Memorial Day weekend, the resort’s premier lakefront amenity, the Lake Club, will open for the season, adding an exceptional level of luxury to the North Shore. Enjoy an outdoor whirlpool, cozy fireplaces, showers and changing facilities, beach access and a private pier. Complimentary kayaks and standup paddle boards are provided for guest use, and additional water sport rentals are available. Food, beverages, and shuttle service is all included with a Lake Club reservation. This year, the Lake Club will also offer Paddleboard Yoga available to book every weekend. For an elevated experience, guests can book an excursion on a MasterCraft high-performance powerboats departing from the Lake Club.
If guests prefer to stay on property, they can make the most of their pool day by reserving a private Cabana which includes poolside snacks, drinks and select wine and beer. For the adventurous, Guided Hikes are available to book where a naturalist guide will take guests along the enchanting trail to Sawmill Lake.
FAMILY FUN
Known for catering to families with an abundance of exciting events and activities, The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe, in partnership with its Ritz Kids program, will offer a packed summer schedule of kid-friendly programming. On select holidays, guests can attend the Dive-In Movie Night where they can watch a kid-friendly film while swimming in the pool or relaxing in a lounge chair under the stars. On Telescope Tuesdays, kids and adults alike can gather in the backyard to gaze at the brilliantly bright stars you can only see from the isolated mountains while learning about constellations from a local instructor. Kids love the daily Resort Scavenger Hunt where they can explore the resort for hidden objects using a special map and win fun prizes, and the complimentary Summer S’mores kits will be given to guests upon arrival in guestrooms.
FOOD & BEVERAGE EXPERIENCES
The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe offers exceptional dining experiences, all featuring new, seasonal menus highlighting only the freshest ingredients. The resort’s signature restaurant, Manzanita provides guests and visitors an upscale dining experience of California mountain cuisine, including its Chef’s Table experience for intimate dinners for up to eight guests adjacent to the exposition kitchen. Enjoy personal interaction with the chef de cuisine who prepares a six-course tasting menu. Sunday Brunch is always a guest favorite with a seasonally focused menu including breakfast favorites and dessert. A glass of Moët & Chandon Champagne or Ketel One Bloody Mary included.
