The partnership will enable guests of the resort to fly from Blackbird Air’s convenient Bay Area locations of Palo Alto and Sausalito directly to The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe’s new Lake Club, located in Tahoe Vista on Lake Tahoe’s pristine North Shore.
Starting June 2018, Blackbird Air will begin transporting resort guests from their private airports throughout the Bay Area directly to Lake Tahoe, landing in front of The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe’s new exclusive Lake Club. Once landed at Lake Club, guests of the resort are welcome to promptly begin enjoying the many amenities the stunning waterside venue has to offer, including al fresco dining, leisure and water activities, and direct access to the lake. From Lake Club, guests can be transported in luxury mini buses to The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe to enjoy the mountain retreat.

Debuted last June, the multi-level Lake Club features amenities that include an indoor gathering area and bar, a ground-floor dining terrace, an upper-level dining deck, and an expansive lawn extending to the water’s edge. Guests have the luxury of direct beach access and a private boat pier – the embarkation point for a myriad of summer recreational activities and water sports, including boating, kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding. Additional features include an outdoor spa, luxurious showers and changing facilities, and stand-up paddle boards, etc. Lake Club is available exclusively to resort guests who reserve the offering in advance.
For guests looking to go straight to the mountain resort, Blackbird Air also offers a standard private airline from its Bay Area airports to Truckee Airport, only seven miles from The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe. These flights do not need to be chartered and can be booked daily through Blackbird Air’s app. The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe will provide resort guests with complimentary roundtrip car service to and from the Truckee Airport when reserving a seat on a Blackbird Air flight.
