Malama Hawaii Offer

For families looking to give back during their stay, The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach has partnered with the Genki Ala Wai Project, providing guests an opportunity to support a monumental seven-year initiative to restore and transform Waikīkī’s Ala Wai Canal into a place that will allow both swimming, fishing and other enjoyable activities. To biodegrade pollutants from the muddy bottom and waters of the Ala Wai Canal, a special solution called EM•1® (Effective Microorganisms®) is used to form genki spheres containing clay soil, water, molasses, and rice bran. Through the resort’s Malama Hawaii offer, $10 from every night of the guest’s stay will go towards funding the development of two genki spheres. The resort will also match every night with $10 for a total of $20, or four genki spheres, to support the initiative.

Family Pool

Located in the Diamond Head Tower, guests of all ages are welcome to enjoy this 1,600-square-foot heated infinity pool. Families can look forward to discovering the vibrant flavors of the islands every day at 2 p.m. at the family pool’s Low Tide experience. As the first Ritz-Carlton on the island of Oahu, the resort celebrates the different cultures of this exciting destination through the sense of taste. Whether it be a scoop of ube (purple yam) ice cream or sweet guava sorbet, the rotating flavors of locally-made ice cream will certainly tantalize guests’ palates leaving each with lasting memories of their visit.
