The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo Partners with Manolo Blahnik for the Holidays

The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo is pleased to announce the luxury hotel’s 2018 holiday collaboration with legendary footwear designer Manolo Blahnik, featuring custom-designed ornaments for the hotel’s Christmas Tree and an exclusive afternoon tea experience in The Lobby Lounge.

From November 29 to December 25, 2018, guests of The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo will be welcomed with a grand six-meter (19-foot) Christmas tree decorated with special book-style ornaments inspired by the Christmas shoe sketches that Manolo Blahnik draws for his family and loved ones each year, along with traditional sphere ornaments designed with special holiday sketches for 2018. Decorated with porcelain ornaments symbolizing Manolo Blahnik’s shoe catalog and dressed in holly, shiny evergreen leaves and red berries, the Christmas tree will be the perfect photo moment for families and loved ones this holiday season.

The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo will also feature an exclusive holiday afternoon tea experience at The Lobby Lounge located on the 45th floor. Drawing inspiration from Manolo Blahnik’s British roots, the hotel will be offering an afternoon tea service with traditional treats including coronation chicken, a selection of cakes, and Blahnik’s favorite marmalade jam packaged beautifully with a Manolo Blahnik custom label. To complete the experience, guests will be served chocolate pralines inspired by the designer’s signature Hangisi pump. This limited time offer holiday afternoon tea experience will be available from November 28, 2018 to January 3, 2019.
