The architecture of the Royal Villa is based on the ancient Moroccan and Andalusian architectural styles depicted in the grand palaces of the 14th-century Berber Merenid Dynasty, while its décor, with its emphasis on gold fabrics and richly-hued silks, is reflective of the styles of ancient Indian palaces, an homage to Oberoi Hotels & Resorts’ Indian roots. A combination of old and modern design details is both ascetically pleasing and designed to evoke a sense of serenity and complete relaxation.
Attention to detail ranges from the soothing sounds of a bubbling water fountain set inside the centre patio to modern floor-to-ceiling windows that make the most of stunning garden views.
