The St. Regis Cap Cana Resort Brings Dominican Tradition to Its 2026 Festive Season

The St. Regis Cap Cana Resort, the first St. Regis resort in the Dominican Republic, unveils its 2026 festive calendar, a season of programming celebrating Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Eve perfect for families, loved ones, or groups looking for a tropical holiday getaway between November 26-December 31. Situated in the exclusive enclave of Cap Cana, a private retreat destination within Punta Cana and the region's longest white sand coastline, The St. Regis Cap Cana Resort offers 200 ocean-facing guestrooms and 36 suites, nine distinct culinary venues, The St. Regis Spa, four pools, a Children and Teens Club, and the resort's signature St. Regis Butler Service.

"We're delighted to welcome guests to The St. Regis Cap Cana Resort for the festive season," said Laura Santoni, general manager of The St. Regis Cap Cana Resort. "The holidays have always been part of the St. Regis story, from our first hotel in New York to Cap Cana today, and this calendar is built for family and friends to make new memories together."

Thanksgiving, Island Style

For guests looking to take the traditional holiday to the tropics of The Dominican, Thanksgiving Day (November 26) is headlined by The St. Regis Turkey Trot, a 5K guiding guests along Cap Cana’s palm tree-lined paths. In the afternoon, the resort will host a lineup of creative and festive activities, including the Autumn Harvest Workshop, during which local artisans guide guests in crafting personalized keepsakes inspired by autumn’s rich colors and Thanksgiving warmth; as well as the Thanksgiving Beach Volleyball Tournament, inviting guests to join in on friendly competition and teamwork. Additional activities include a turkey sack race, gratitude tree crafting, and a puppet workshop. For the main event, Thanksgiving dinner will be traditional offerings served at Cassava Restaurant from 6 to 10 p.m., priced at $88 per adult and $35 per child ages 4 to 12; children under 4 dine complimentary.

A St. Regis Christmas Celebration

To continue the holiday season, the resort will host a festive Tree Lighting Ceremony on December 4th in the lobby. Guests are invited to gather as the resort illuminates its holiday tree, with live music and seasonal treats.

Christmas Eve on December 24th will bring two festive dining experiences. At Cassava Restaurant, families can gather for a celebratory feast featuring traditional favorites and seasonal delights, thoughtfully prepared to bring warmth and cheer to the table; priced at $115 per adult and $40 per child ages 4 to 12. At NINA Restaurant, conceived by our International Partner Chef, Diego Muñoz, guests can enjoy a family-style dinner from 7 to 11 p.m., beginning with a welcome drink and moving through an indulgent menu including freshly shucked oysters with yuzu ponzu, chicken ballotine with morel and tarragon jus, a festive Bûche de Noël and more. The experience is priced at $85 per adult, with beverages not included.

Ringing in 2027

The resort will close out the year in celebratory fashion with a New Year’s Eve Dinner at Cassava Restaurant on Dec. 31 from 7 to 11 p.m. The festive buffet will offer an abundant spread spanning seafood ceviche and international charcuterie to roast beef tenderloin and a lavish dessert station featuring Dominican cocoa tiramisu, pistachio profiteroles, rum and more. Priced at $140 per adult and $50 per child ages 4 to 12 and inclusive of select beverages, the evening will culminate in a sparkling countdown to welcome 2027. Following dinner, guests can continue the celebration at The St. Regis Bar, where expertly crafted cocktails and an elegant atmosphere are fit for the year’s final moments
