The Uber Deluxe Inn at Willow Grove in Virginia Wine Country Adds 3 Designer Suites
The new Overlook Suites ranging from 400 square feet to 800 square feet enjoy a prominent position at the top of the plantation overlooking The Manor House, the social hub of the property. Guests will access the suites, Overlook East, Overlook West and The Flat (a junior suite), by a private drive 250 yards from the rear of the 1778 mansion. Or they may choose to walk to and from through The Boxwood Gardens.

The three new suites will continue the legacy of providing uber-luxe accommodations with stately king-size beds and stone-tiled bathrooms, wet-bars, gas fireplaces, large soaking tubs, private sitting rooms, and serene porches. The beds sport allergen-free Natura mattresses and Anichini eider downs and linens. Charlene Scibal's personal aesthetic, a mix of Hollywood glamour, modern art and French colonialism, imbues the plantation with lively spirit and interior designs that lifts the plantation from its eighteenth century roots.

The concept here is to spread guests about the plantation and to make them feel that they are its rightful heirs. To this end there are four suites in The Mansion. Seven other accommodations are sheltered in historic cottages wrapped into the plantation grounds. The Three new suites boast incredible views of both the Blue Ridge Mountains, as well as bucolic rolling hills from dueling front and back porches.

The on-premise Vintage, a 60-seat fine-dining restaurant and tavern, focuses on wine and farm-to-table cuisine. At the helm is Executive Chef Jason Daniels who has worked in top culinary venues throughout the South and keeps his cooking classically based with a contemporary, playful flair. Gourmet delights are paired with an extensive wine list that showcases Virginia's premier wineries as well as west coast and international vineyards. Vintage offers lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch to guests and locals, as well as a 5pm hors d'oeuvres tasting for guests in the Salon of the Inn.

The three new Overlook Suites are dog-friendly and furry pals will enjoy deluxe amenities including a size-appropriate, plush dog bed with a Sunbrella fabric that matches the room's décor, water and food bowls and a room service menu filled with “Doggie Delights” such as locally made organic treats and a choice of spring fed or bottled water. Pups will also receive an organic nibble at turn-down and can enjoy alfresco Doggie Dining with their owners on the patios at Vintage.

Guests also have access to The Smokehouse Spa offering a variety of body treatments, as well as the Salon, the Library and an extensive garden with reflecting pools, ponds and outdoor fire pits. A concierge butler services individual requests as well as delivering morning coffee and beignets and nightly hot tea and sweet turn downs.

Two distinct event spaces, the Hall, accommodating 50, and the Barn for up to 150 host large parties, weddings and small corporate retreats
