The Ultimate Explorer’s Trip to Antarctica and South Africa

Join Scott Dunn on the ultimate explorer’s trip to Antarctica and South Africa. For the first time, combine the Kruger National Park’s prolific wildlife, with a journey to the remote wilderness of Antarctica. Guests can see the Big 5 in South Africa followed by the penguins in the white desert of Antarctica.

Guests will start their journey in Kruger National Park spending four nights at either Singita Lebombo or Sweni Lodge, both set in incomparable locations that literally take one's breath away. With private access to 33,000 acres of one of the world’s most iconic wildlife reserves, guests will connect with nature with a front-row seat to some of the most exciting game-viewing on the continent and find out why this region is affectionately called “Lebombo, land of lions”. Twice daily game drives also showcase this diverse landscape’s rocky outcrops and the pristine settings that offer adventure at every turn.

Next is cosmopolitan Cape Town, the springboard to Antarctica, where guests will experience the natural amphitheater of Table Mountain whilst being encircled by both the Indian and Atlantic Oceans. Set in the pulsing heart of the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, the One&Only Cape Town is the perfect base to explore the sights of the city, indulge in world-class dining or take in the immense beauty of the city.

Guests will then journey to Antarctica and spend five days at Whichaway Camp - a unique fusion of high-tech pods and old-world opulence. After settling in guests will board a 2-hour flight to Atka Bay, to a colony of 6000 Emperor Penguins and their young chicks. They can experience their very own “March of the Penguins” moment as they are immersed in the sights and sounds of the colony.
