Tis' The Season For Family-Friendly Fun at These Luxury Resorts

With the festive season quickly approaching, families are already planning their winter break travel to escape the cold and the post-holiday blues while the kids are off from school.

PLAY by COMO, COMO Hotels & Resorts kids club for those aged 4 - 12, is designed to entertain young travelers during their vacations, while also educating them on the special destinations they are in with scheduled programming unique to each resort. While the kids are exploring and learning, parents are given a chance for some much-needed alone time and R&R.

This year, PLAY by COMO is offering festive programming combined with cultural learning activities for kids to enjoy during the holiday season from December 23 - December 31.

COMO Maalifushi  (pictured)

As COMO’s largest private island resort in the Maldives, COMO Maalifushi is surrounded by world-class surf breaks and crystal clear waters. While their parents partake in water sports and indulge in sustainable seafood at the onsite Japanese restaurant, kids will love performing in the holiday puppet show, painting coconuts to decorate the sandcastle Christmas tree, and writing down New Year’s resolutions. Kids can also partake in smoothie making, stand-up paddleboarding, and Maldivian drumming lessons to get a taste for what this beautiful destination has to offer.

COMO Uma Canggu

Situated on Bali’s south coast is the beachside COMO Uma Canggu. With a chance to learn about this unique region, PLAY by COMO at COMO Uma Canggu will give kids the opportunity to decorate masquerade masks for New Year’s Eve, write letters to Santa and partake in a holiday treasure hunt or focus on bettering Bali’s natural environment through a beach clean-up, reusable bag decorating, or nature walk to find all natural art supplies for crafting. All the while, adults will enjoy poolside lounging, spa treatments at COMO Shambhala Retreat, and healthy cuisine.

COMO Point Yamu

Nestled on the tip of Cape Yamu, COMO’s Phuket resort boasts panoramic views of Phang Nga Bay. This holiday season, kids can join in on the fun with activities including Pla Thong cookie decorating (a traditional Thai snack), New Year fireworks canvas painting, and a chance to meet Santa Claus. To really immerse themselves in Thailand’s rich culture, kids can also learn the language, take part in a yoga class and learn Thai boxing, or spend time at the beach, partake in a Christmas scavenger hunt and enjoy a nature walk.

COMO Parrot Cay

Situated on the white sand beaches of COMO’s private island resort in Turks and Caicos, COMO Parrot Cay is a convenient flight away for east coasters looking for a winter getaway. While their parents are playing a game of tennis, stand-up paddleboarding in the crystal-clear waters or indulging in delicious modern Italian fare at one of the onsite restaurants, kids will partake in holiday crafts, movies and scavenger hunts while making new friends in the process. Kids will also love learning how to make sushi, participating in games such as soccer and tennis, and trying their hand at fishing.
