Trend: Luxury Resorts Offering Tiny Homes

A trend that is emerging in these three specific properties—Snake River Sporting Club (Jackson Hole), Costa Palmas (Los Cabos), and Mountainside at Northstar (Lake Tahoe)—are taking a different approach to providing a true reality experience through offering tiny homes on site.

In the case of Snake River Sporting Club, non-owners/guests can opt to rent the Tiny Homes on a nightly basis, starting at $525. The sales team will also host strong sales prospects in the tiny homes (in addition to cabins), to give them a taste of the full club experience.

At Costa Palmas, the sales/marketing team are hosting sales prospects in the tiny home cabanas on a weekly basis. Interest has been incredibly strong and the team is offering a full 1-2 day itinerary which includes a wide range of adventures and opportunities to see, feel, taste and experience everything the thousand-acre resort and surroundings can offer.

At Mountainside, current owners are able to use the Rendezvous Cabins as an amenity (whether for a yoga session or to house extra guests, etc.). They are also used for sales prospects to stay overnight (they have a full kitchen, etc.).

The uses are somewhat different across the properties, however the main trend is that the developers have invested in these tiny homes as a tool to drive sales interest.
