Turn Up the Tunes at Thompson Denver with Its Victrola Collaboration

Thompson Denver, the soon-to-debut first Colorado property in the Thompson Hotels portfolio, has teamed up with Victrola, the Denver-based leading manufacturer of turntables for more than 100 years, to offer unparalleled musical experiences for hotel guests. As the culture savvy Thompson Denver guest seeks what’s new, next, and lasting in music, the two lifestyle brands have curated a one-of-a-kind, refined listening lounge on the hotel’s sixth floor, and for the guestrooms and suites, a collection of the latest innovative record players with modern technology to make the guest listening experience more a rich and seamless than ever.

The property will debut five different record players and one Bluetooth-enabled radio, each offering a distinct listening experience. The Linden Wood Bluetooth Radio, where AM/FM radio meets modern technology, will be available in guestrooms and suites allowing guests to seamlessly sync their smart device and play their favorite tunes. All twelve Skyline Studios and Executive Suites will include the V1 Stereo Turntable, a premium turntable that allows for seamless music streaming and can serve as a television soundbar. The V1 Turntable Music System, which pairs the V1 turntable with a wireless subwoofer for an even richer listening experience, will be featured in the Mile High Suites and Thompson Suite. And finally, the 1,032-square-foot signature Thompson Suite will benefit from the technology of the T1 Turntable System, which is a top-of-the-line system created with meticulous attention to sound, design, and ease of use.

The Lower Downtown (LoDo) district hotel will also introduce a communal Victrola Listening Lounge on the sixth floor, providing guests with an edgy selection of vinyl for all types of music fans, thoughtfully curated by the Victrola team. The Lounge will be adjacent to the hotel’s alpine-inspired cocktail lounge, Reynard Social. For the adventurous guest looking to bring their tunes with them as they explore the Mile High City, Revolution GO,  Victrola’s portable and rechargeable record players, will be available to check out. The easily transportable, first-of-its-kind Bluetooth capable turntable will give guests the chance to enjoy tunes on a daytrip to Boulder or during a walking tour of Denver’s best breweries, creating music memories wherever they go.

Thompson Denver’s collaboration with Victrola further extends to Thompson Hotels’ new ‘Culture Lives Here’ brand campaign, which celebrates people and brands who are contributing to and impacting culture. As part of this exciting initiative, Hagen will curate a bespoke vinyl selection throughout the new hotel’s guestrooms, suites, and Victrola Listening Lounge, which will be available indefinitely upon the property’s grand opening in February 2022. Hagen will also create a "music pairing menu," complete with songs that pair well with the dishes and desserts served at chef Ludo Lefebvre’s signature on-property restaurant, Chez Maggy, as well as for use at special events.
