Turnberry Isle Miami Offers Summer Fun for the Kids

Even the most discerning little traveler will enjoy activities such as lizard safaris and petitie pampering, finding moments to have fun and learn while making friends along the way.

Kids Connection reinforces Turnberry’s commitment to providing enriching experiences through an innovative series of teambuilding and cooperative games, arts and crafts, sports and fitness, drama, and special, regionally-inspired classes like South Florida dance. In addition to year-round full-day and half-day camps for children ages 5-12, parents can choose from an assortment of new two to three hour activities, which include:

Beach Combing Bonanza
Scour the beach for local treasures like shells and shark teeth and learn all about the oceans and beaches, observe local wildlife, and make a treasure you can take home. (May 28th, June 8th and 25th, $85)

Lizard Safari
Explore the lush tropical surroundings of Turnberry Isle in search of the elusive Turnberry Lizards! Safari guides take children through the wilderness. Recommended for adventurous kids only. (June 4th and 16th, $90)

Petite Pampering
Get pampered and come out looking like royalty. Hair, makeup and nails are all given the deluxe treatment. Manicures, pedicures, hair styles and glitter tattoos are just some of the options available for the glamorous little ladies and gentlemen of Turnberry. (May 26th and June 11th and 23rd, $85)

South Florida Art Adventures
Learn about artists such as Romero Britto, David Lebo, and the designs that help give South Florida the vibrant color and style it has today. Instructors help kids to recreate the work of these famous artists and help them channel their own talents to create a piece of art that is unique. (June 2nd, 18th, 30th, $85)

Saturday Art / Activity Hour
Participate in various arts and crafts activities such as, designing t-shirts with spray paint, flip flop decorating, memory box creations, glitter tattoo design, make-your-own flower pots and more. (Every Saturday from June 2nd to August 26th, from 1 PM – 2 PM, $10 - $15)

Turnberry Isle Miami offers various leisure activities for families and children, including a Laguna Pool waterslide and lazy river, a private beach club with volleyball and wave runners, a 2.9 mile jogging path, as well as a retail playground across the street at Aventura Mall.
