Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing and trip preparation | 1350m (4,428ft)

Day 3: Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2,610 m)

Day 6: Trek to Tengboche 3860 m (12665 ft)

Leaving Namche Bazaar behind, the trail continues with both ascents and descents. You'll trek through dense forests of rhododendron and pine, often encountering yaks and other wildlife. Day 10: Trek to Gorak Shep | 5164 m (16942 ft.)

Today is remarkable as you reach Everest Base Camp (EBC) at 5,364 m (17,598 ft). The trail is relatively flat from Lobuche to Gorak Shep. After a short break in Gorak Shep, continue to EBC, crossing the Khumbu Glacier and witnessing the awe-inspiring Khumbu Icefall.

Enjoy the majestic views of surrounding peaks and the triumphs of Everest climbers. After spending time at EBC, return to Gorak Shep for an overnight stay.
