Valsana Hotel in Arosa, Switzerland, is opening for it’s first summer season later this month. The state-of-the-art property is the first in Switzerland to be powered by an “Ice Vault,” running on recycled energy, and makes use of sustainable building materials and décor elements.
Bordering the forest at the entrance of town, the Valsana is surrounded by majestic panoramic views of the mountains and lake that serve as the inspiration for the hotel's architecture and interior designs, featuring the ideal combination of wood, stone and glass. The property provides guests with a unique experience by seamlessly merging the lobby, lounge and signature restaurant Twist - known as the “living room” of Arosa - into a single, open space to enjoy a cocktail, meal or fireside chat. Twist boasts a healthy locally-sourced menu of juices, salads and grain bowls, offerings that greatly differ from traditional Swiss fare.
While at the Valsana, guests can spend their days hiking, swimming, fly-fishing and biking - train with a pro street racing athlete during their Road Bike Workshop - or take advantage of one of the hotel’s many wellness experiences. Summer at the Valsana has arrived.
