Vancouver's Rosewood Hotel Georgia Unveils Reimagined Reflections Rooftop Dining Experience

Rosewood Hotel Georgia, the ultra-luxury retreat in Downtown Vancouver, reveals the highly anticipated rebirth of Reflections The Garden Terrace, a beloved culinary destination that provides guests and locals alike with an indoor and outdoor dining experience. Reflections has been reimagined as an urban sanctuary through a bold and thoughtful lens steeped in authenticity and approachable elegance. The new Reflections retains its identity as an inclusive and welcoming environment that is beloved by local Vancouverites, while reinvigorating the guest experience through a revamped food and beverage program inspired by the city’s cultural enclaves and carefully curated design that further deepens its connection to the Pacific Northwest.

A Cultural Culinary Journey

Reflections will stay true to its legacy as a welcoming mainstay in the Vancouver dining scene with an all-day menu that celebrates the Pacific Northwest, featuring local seafood-forward dishes with fresh and bold flavors. Anchored by tapas-inspired items ideal for sharing, the menu includes signature items like the Lobster Dumplings with XO miso broth, the Dungeness Crab Tostada, and the South Asian-inspired Chicken “65” with buttermilk, curry leaves and gunpowder spice.

The mixology program draws inspiration from the visual identity of the province of British Columbia with cocktails inspired by the Coast, Cascades and Metropolis.  Aligned with the refined ethos of the hotel, the cocktail program has been curated to both provide a sense of luxury as well as a distinct and playful flair. Elevated cocktails include the crisp and sunlit Bayside Spritz, with notes of passion fruit and elderflower mirroring the lively energy of Vancouver’s waterfront; the fruit-forward Blueberry Hill Farm, inspired by the lush berry fields of the Pacific Northwest; and the Lion’s Gate Old Fashioned, crafted with brown butter bourbon and white miso, evoking the timeless charm and urban elegance of Vancouver’s West End.  Non-alcoholic drinks such as the Lemon Ginger Kombucha will certainly be a summer favorite drink.

Also new to the reimagined Reflections is an expanded wine program, with a greater emphasis on British Columbia-sourced vintages, celebrating this burgeoning wine region known for its exceptional Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc varietals.

The menu will be available daily from 11:30 am to midnight, with the addition of a newly-debuted weekend brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm.

Locally Inspired Design

Under the helm of Ste Marie Studio, the beloved local dining concept has been reborn to bring the lush essence of the Pacific Northwest into Vancouver’s most storied hotel. Now an urban sanctuary reimagined with a garden concept, Reflections was designed to offer guests an immersive indoor-outdoor experience that is true rarity in the city. The space features a custom-designed, oyster-white retractable glass roof, allowing it to transform seamlessly with the seasons. With this  innovative design feature, diners can enjoy an open and airy atmosphere during the warmer Spring and Summer months while experiencing a cozy, indoor retreat in the Fall and Winter. Bathed in light and anchored by abundant greenery, the space is delicately punctuated by elemental features including a custom art piece shaped from carved wood representing the ripples and reflections of water as well as custom teak tables with inlaid stone pulling from regional tones of earthy reds, greens and blues.

Adding additional depth to the design experience, Ste Marie pursued a distinct blend of hand-crafted custom furnishings enveloped in an eclectic mix of textured fabrics as well as bespoke feature lighting to evoke a sense of warmth and tactility while adding visual depth to invite diners to linger in both comfort and refinement. Bronze glass accents, textured plaster walls, honey-stained wood and Elysian Travertino tiles further establish the terrace as a place where natural and crafted elements are in balance, fostering a connection to Vancouver’s landscape. The redesigned bar is finished in polished Moon Ray Quartzite and complemented by a new, fully integrated wine storage feature highlighting specialty wine bottles and Champagne while a cascading preserved floral installation overhanging above the bar further amplifies Reflections’ secret garden aesthetic.
