Viceroy Snowmass to Debut Hike-in/Hike-out Bar this Summer

Viceroy Snowmass to Debut Hike-in/Hike-out Bar this Summer

This summer, Viceroy Snowmass is debuting a hike-in/hike-out bar (or bike-in/bike-out if on 2 wheels) adjacent to their outdoor pool located directly on the trails of Snowmass, an extension of their existing restaurant Nest. Open to the public, this new bar will include a menu of local Roaring Fork Valley beers, crafted cocktails, house-made juices, and more. Patrons can also order off the food Nest. This is perhaps the ONLY hike-in/hike-out bar in Colorado, if not the U.S.

Summer in the mountains inevitably means time spent outside and on the trails, whether it is hiking through the aspen groves and fields of wildflowers, biking down switchbacks and across streams, or trail running to the highest peaks. Whatever your chosen activity, après with a cold beverage is a must-do (frankly, almost required). Nothing beats an ice cold beer to cool you down after time in the sun, all while high on endorphins and enjoying the scenery around you. If/when ready to get back out there, hikers and bikers can simply continue along the trails and finish their day on the mountain directly from the bar.

What about the wintertime? You guessed it – this bar will be the only true al fresco ski-in/ski-out bar in the region (removing skis is optional).

For those looking to enjoy a more leisure day, The Spa at Viceroy Snowmass will transform the pool deck into a mini al fresco spa sanctuary with new poolside spa treatments. As an extension of the existing Ute Indian-inspired therapies, poolside treatments will include facials and masks paired with a local wellness elixir from the new bar for good measure. Bonus: those who book spa treatments have access to the pool for the day, normally reserved for hotel guests!
