Throughout the three-day Harvest Experience, guests will be immersed in vineyard life, while enjoying the incredible activities and unprecedented art and design that the retreat has to offer. Guided by a team of wine experts, guests who book the Harvest Experience at Viña Vik retreat and VIK Vineyard, will experience winemaking on the holistic property, and will receive a firsthand education in harvesting grapes.
During the day, guests will enjoy a range of activities including sunset yoga, spa treatments at the retreat’s wine-spa, afternoon trekking in the vineyard and in-depth wine tastings with the team of experts to further understand the varietals. By night, guests will join in on the harvest, working with the VIK wine team to harvest grapes in the vineyard by moonlight. Once gathered, the grapes will be brought to the winery for the first phase of production. Guests will then be invited to taste the newly pressed juice in the early steps of the maceration process, as well as wine which has just begun fermentation.
The Harvest Experience includes a three day-two night stay at Viña Vik, horseback riding and mountain bike riding to explore vineyards, including a stop for breakfast among the vines, a four-course dinner, paired with VIK wine, at the hotel’s signature gastronomical restaurant Milla Milla, as well as a four-course dinner at the Winery at VIK, which was designed by celebrated Chilean architect Smiljan Radic. Participants are also able to add an imperial bottle of VIK wine from the vintage year in which they participate, which will be delivered upon release approximately four years later.
