Uniting once again with owner-partners, Reuben Brothers – following the success of the opening of Hotel La Palma in Capri this summer – Oetker Collection is taking its famed European hospitality to the U.S. for the first time, to open The Vineta Hotel in Palm Beach next autumn.
Steeped in the elegance of bygone times, The Vineta Hotel stands as testament to history and opulence, where the walls whisper of glamorous tête-à-têtes past. This glittering new hotel takes root in the heart of Palm Beach just two blocks off Worth Avenue – a landmark destination renowned for its designer boutiques, art galleries, and coveted restaurants – and mere minutes away from the beach.
Paying homage to the hotel’s legacy, Oetker Collection is bringing back the Vineta name that it held for over 50 years, heralding a bold new chapter in the building’s nearly 100-year history. With its distinct, chic pale-pink façade, it is a quintessential example of Mediterranean Revival architecture for which Palm Beach is famed. The landmark building will be restored and reborn as The Vineta Hotel following a top-to-toe renovation back to its original splendour, led by Paris-based interior designer, Tino Zervudachi.
The Vineta Hotel’s dining and social spaces will offer an eclectic mix of four distinct environments. The former Leopard Lounge – in its heyday, a popular Palm Beach night spot for celebrities and locals alike – will undergo a full transformation. Elegant and discreet; fun and vibrant, this restaurant will become the new gathering place of choice in Palm Beach for laid-back, atmospheric lunches and buzzy dinners. Meanwhile, against a lush backdrop of flowering vines and palms, the emblematic courtyard will transform into the ultimate al fresco dining destination. A highly exclusive play on the statement ‘American Bar’ is being conceived, with only a handful of seats, as well as a brand-new Mediterranean-inspired, indoor/outdoor poolside restaurant.
