The accommodations--which range from the palatial Presidential Suite to more low-key rooms patterned on luxury apartments--have been decorated to invoke an elegant, early 20th-century bohemian townhouse. This has made the hotel increasingly popular with those visiting the city for work, vacation, or even a weekend getaway. This demographic also includes influential art curators and gallerists that often grace the polished wooden archways of the hotel during major art world events. Inspired by their artistic clientele, this past year WestHouse partnered with Frieze and Net-A-Porter to create one of our favorite packages in the city. From May 14th to 17th, guests who reserved a suit at WestHouse for the three days of the Frieze Art Fair received VIP access to the event & private viewing party, as well as a complimentary luxury round-trip car service to Randall's Island.

The hotel, created by award-winning design firm Jeffery Beers International, also features a lovely 20's-style art deco ground floor bar with an indulgent complimentary tasting menu that includes finely cured meats and cheeses. It's easy to image Hemingway sipping on the hotel's trademark Oldie But Goodie –a mixture of hard spirits with muddled herbs--while taking in the romantic late-afternoon light. In the morning, a full breakfast is offered on The Terrace to energize the business meeting crowd, but any children (or children-at heart) sleeping in can also enjoy milk and cookies throughout the day. At night, adults can enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sunset, or book in-room spa services. If you venture out, the hotel also offers house seats to Jersey Boys on Broadway, as well as the chance to dine with three members of the cast. How fun is that?

Those hoping to take in some shopping can also book WestHouse's Suite Shopping Package, which offers the season's latest fashions, accessories and beauty assortments to order. If you book a room for a minimum three-night stay you can even receive a monogrammed SFERRA luxury throw and $500 NET-A-PORTER.COM gift card.
As we mentioned before, even the littlest guests are treated to luxury amenities. From arrival, all tikes receive a (personalized) WestHouse teddy bear, snacks, and a cozy robe to relax in. The hotel also offers child-friendly city tours to landmark New York locations, an invaluable amenity if your little one is feeling a little antsy. Pups and pets of all kind are also offered a comfortable “bed and bowl,” a welcome basket of toys and treats, and even a walking service through Central Park.

From the business traveler, to the art lover, to the dog aficionado, we can't imagine another hotel that offers a wider range of clients and options. In fact, if we were really to think about it, you could even say it's as diverse as NYC itself.
