In today's guide, I'm your travel guide for the Livorno tour, and I will introduce you to the deep history of this city and explore some of the best activities to do in Livorno.

1- Explore Marina di Campo

The first thing is to explore the Marina di Campo in Livorno, a famous tourist spot known for its breathtaking islands and crystal clear water. This spot is just 140 km away from a cruise port.

Don't worry, and this is not too much distance; it just takes 3 hours to reach this haven spot. Last year, me and my friend Zoe Grace (travel blogger at Cruiseshipmania) visited this place, and believe me, there are many things to do.

The short shore excursions, outdoor activities, food, and romantic places will make your trip unforgettable. Take e-bikes and hop on the Monte Tambone to see the sunset views. Plus, you can also enjoy snorkeling.

2- Savor a Cacciucco Cooking Class

Are you an Italian food lover? Join the local cooking class to learn more about the local taste. You can also know about the secret recipe for Italian Pizza.

After taking this class, you can cook at home by yourself.

3- Explore La Venezia

A route of striking fascination over bridges and around churches. Visit the Venezia Nuova (New Venice) District starting from the bridge of St. John Nepomuceno, which takes its name from the statue that stands on it, and following the Scali del Corso, Scali Finocchietti and Scali degli Isolotti, cross the Marble Bridge which allows us access to Via Borra, the largest and most elegant road of the district and rich with imposing historical palazzos like the Palazzo del Monte di Pietà, the Palazzo delle Colonne and the Palazzo Huigens.

4- Go To Mascagni Terrace

Mascagni Terrace is situated in the charming coastal town of Livorno, Italy. This place is so peaceful that you can deep breathe, and it eliminates all the fatigue of the day.

Plus, the place is so photogenic that you can capture some photos for IG. It's an idyllic spot for a leisurely evening, whether you're sipping espresso at a café or enjoying a tranquil moment, watching the waves break along the Italian Riviera.

5- Explore Picturesque Villages

Last year, I had a blast exploring these charming little villages. I gotta say, it was like stepping into a postcard. From cobblestone streets to quaint cottages, it was all so Instagram-worthy.

I started in a village in the hills, where every corner had a stunning view. Then, I meandered down to another one, where time seemed to stand still.

The locals were super friendly and chatty. I even stumbled upon a cosy café with the best espresso ever. Those villages were like a dream, and I can't wait to return and get lost in their beauty again.

6- Visit Fortezza Nuova

I visited Fortezza Nuova last year, and it was pretty cool. This old fortress in Livorno has a rich history, and wandering through its thick walls felt like stepping back in time.

There's a museum inside that tells you all about the city's maritime past – interesting stuff. The best part? The view from up there is amazing.

You can see the whole city and the sea. I even spotted some old cannons. It's a great spot to explore if you're into history or want to enjoy some killer views of Livorno. I'd recommend it for sure.

7- Visit Acquario di Livorno To Explore Marine Life

If you have kids, the Acquario di Livorno is the must-have place for you. The kids will find something special there. There are many unique and interesting species.

Next to it, there is also a water park where the kids can take water rides and immerse themselves in fun outdoor activities. Plus, you can also capture some of the best photos with the aquarium and in the water park.
