Yntegra Group, the visionary Miami-based developer behind Rosewood Exuma, has unveiled the world’s first Floating Helipad at its private-island resort on East Sampson Cay in the Bahamas. This trailblazing feature joins a suite of signature amenities including a Floating Padel Court and a superyacht-inspired 13-meter Limousine Tender, cementing the destination as one of the most exclusive and forward-thinking examples of ultra-luxury hospitality.
Set amid the crystal-clear waters of the pristine Exuma archipelago, just one hour from South Florida, islands – East Sampson Cay, home to the forthcoming Rosewood Exuma, offers unmatched privacy and accessibility by air and sea. Slated to open in late 2028, Rosewood Exuma will comprise 33 bungalows thoughtfully positioned across the 124-acre island, with more than half the land preserved in its natural state. Sustainable initiatives include native landscaping, solar and renewable energy targeting 30 percent of the resort’s power, and plans for LEED® certification.
Anchored on a 52 ft × 42 ft (2,184-square-foot), FAA-compliant recycled floating dock system, the Floating Helipad exemplifies Yntegra’s vision for creating experiences that harmonize innovation with the natural beauty of the Exumas. Designed as a mobile, non-fixed platform, the helipad can be towed and repositioned as needed, allowing for flexible deployment across multiple locations. Constructed with hand-crafted premium ProFenders from Australia, the pad is engineered to withstand intense UV exposure, extreme weather, and relentless salt spray. Its premium synthetic turf surface features eight flush-mounted stainless-steel cleats for vessel docking and anchoring, while perimeter solar lights are clearly defined for night approach and departure to ensure safety. Designed to accommodate helicopters up to ~190,000 lbs, including the Sikorsky CH-53E, the Floating Helipad combines cutting-edge engineering with ultra-luxury hospitality.
Felipe MacLean, CEO of Yntegra Group, said: “We are unwavering in our pursuit to craft experiences that are as visionary as they are memorable. Our Floating Helipad ensures that the arrival experience is as unforgettable as the destination itself, inviting guests to immerse in a horizon-to-horizon escape of unrivaled adventure and pristine natural beauty of East Sampson Cay.”
With signature innovations like the Floating Padel Court, the bespoke Limousine Tender, and now the Floating Helipad, Yntegra Group continues to push the boundaries of bespoke hospitality, offering a preview of the leisure, adventure, and wellness experiences coming to East Sampson Cay. The Floating Padel Court, floating gracefully above the water and crafted from recycled steel, is engine- and battery-free, minimizing environmental impact while providing a serene space for physical activity and mental rejuvenation. Complementing this, in collaboration with British boatbuilder Cockwells Modern & Classic Boatbuilding, Yntegra has commissioned a superyacht-inspired 13-meter Limousine Tender, designed to elevate the journey long before guests set foot on the island. Delivering these extraordinary amenities in a remote location with minimal infrastructure underscores Yntegra’s ability to bring ultra-luxury to pristine, untapped destinations – where design, adventure, and wellness converge to create a wholly elevated private-island experience.
