XV Beacon Newly Ranked #1 in Boston
The chic luxury boutique address on historic Beacon Hill has been rated #1 among the Top 10 Hotels in Boston in the magazine's 2013 Readers' Choice Awards, as well as #4 among the Top 10 Hotels & Resorts in the United States and #28 among the Top 100 Hotels & Resorts in the World.

This year, Condé Nast Traveler had a record-breaking 79,268 readers participate in the survey, close to double the number of survey takers in 2012. These dedicated and discerning travelers cast 1.3 million votes for more than 16,000 properties around the world resulting in the most comprehensive “best of the best” travel awards ever. In fact, Condé Nast Traveler introduced 15 new categories including the Best Hotels in San Francisco, Boston, Chicago, Charleston, and New Orleans, to name a few. In total, there are 1,351 winners of the 2013 Readers' Choice Awards.

Since opening day in 2000, XV Beacon has consistently won over discerning travelers with impeccable service across all hotel categories, including rooms, location, service, food and value. Indeed, Condé Nast Traveler's most recent Readers' Choice Awards saw XV Beacon with a stellar score of 97.0 – two-plus points ahead of the runner up among the Top 10 Hotels in Boston. XV Beacon was also the only hotel in the Northeast counted among the Top 10 Hotels & Resorts in the United States. The 2013 Readers' Choice Awards issue will hit newsstands in November.

This year alone, the hotel earned recognition as the #2 Business Hotel in the World and in the U.S. in Condé Nast Traveler's 2013 16th Annual Business Travel Awards; #8 among Top Small City Hotels in the Continental U.S. from Travel + Leisure's 2013 Worlds Best Awards; a place on Condé Nast Traveler's 2013 Gold List of the World's Best Places to Stay; and one of the 2013 Best Hotels in the USA by U.S. News and World Report.

“We've always been pleased to offer travelers from across the country and around the world a remarkable hotel experience in the most desirable district in Boston, and we will continue to do so,” said Amy Finsilver, General Manager of XV Beacon. “There is no more discerning judge of travel than the readership of Condé Nast Traveler and we look forward to dazzling them in the years ahead.”

A chic, modernist hotel located in an historic ten-story Beaux Arts building, XV Beacon has just seven guest rooms per floor, each individually designed with stylish décor and accented with in-room fireplaces, four-poster beds and drenching rain showers. There is museum-quality artwork at every turn; complimentary luxury Lexus sedan service; innovative steakhouse dining at Mooo…, and one of the hotel industry's most impressive Wine Cellars within the granite foundation of the Edward Bromfield Mansion, built in 1722. The hotel is mere steps from the Massachusetts State House, Boston Common, and the antique shops, boutiques and galleries of Beacon Hill.
