Zadún, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve Offers Spring Equinox Retreat

Spanning from Thursday, March 18 to Sunday, March 21, the retreat is carefully tailored for those seeking a true escape where they can revitalize the mind, body and soul.

Zadún is set along the dramatic coastline of San José del Cabo, Mexico, in the coastal haven of Puerto Los Cabos. The resort unfolds over a vast and beautiful 20 acre landscape and offers panoramic views of the Sea of Cortes. It is home to the region’s premier wellness programming at Spa Alkemia, the 30,000 square foot sanctuary dedicated to transformative experiences that blend ancestral and modern techniques to encourage physical and emotional rejuvenation.

The Equinox Retreat will complement the wellness experience discovered at Zadún, Programming will be led by Regina Marco and Grace Terry, leading tastemakers within the space, who over the course of the retreat will guide participants through healing therapies. Regina is a Meditation Teacher and cofounder of Casa Tila and Niños Zen. She has studied meditation and yoga for 16 years, living in India, Nepal, Bali Thailand and Bhutan, perfecting the art of meditation, yoga and Tibetan Buddhism with guidance from some of the most respected teachers. Grace Terry is a Reiki Master, Healer, Singer and Flower Therapist, with 25 years of experience on the spiritual path. Zadún sets the benchmark in luxury travel. Its striking design celebrates the desert and the sea, with 115 expansive guestrooms and suites, many of which have an individual pool and terrace, within 42 two-story villas placed gently along the natural slopes of the land. The property is inherently spacious, and a place to reinvigorate while enjoying the very best of Mexican culture and design. All guests enjoy the genuine care of a Tosoani, or private attendant. Meaning “dream watcher”, Tosoanis help guests tailor everything from arrival to departure to ensure a highly customized and unforgettable escape.

Zadún presents the region’s most innovative wellness experience. Offering a breadth of personalized experiences, Spa Alkemia delivers individuals, couples and small group treatments that cleanse the body and clear the mind. The resort delivers distinct culinary offerings at four food and beverage venues on property, all of which offer outdoor seating, where guests can enjoy fresh air and a range of flavors from Mexican-street-food-inspired dishes, to ceviche to fire-cooked bites and more. A deeper understanding of the natural habitats in Baja California and the protected marine sanctuaries of the Sea of Cortes are the focus of Jean-Michel Cousteau’s Ambassadors of the Environment program at Zadún. Guests can enjoy natural wonders from whale watching to turtle nesting and more.

The spring Equinox Retreat will include yoga, meditation and sound healing experiences. It is priced at $150 per person, per day on Friday, March 19 and Saturday, March 20.
