From the humble beginnings in 1947, Zorko and Rita (the hotel name stemming from two letters of each of their names) focused on quality. Local ingredients, freshly caught fish from the nearby shore, prepared with love and tradition passed down by generations. A pension on the side of the restaurant for tired fishermen to have a place to sleep on land, when the seas no longer allowed for peaceful nights.
That was over 80 years ago. Today, Iva and Renato, the third generation of the family, transformed the seafront restaurant into an exclusive island getaway, looking like the next White Lotus filming set.

Pakleni islands, the archipelago of 21 islets, is unique in the Adriatic, and Zori found its spot on one of them, the island called Sveti Klement. The reason why today we can enjoy the same beauties Zorko and Rita enjoyed back then is because these islets are all protected landscape, which means no mass construction, no hotel chain projects, just whatever was there 80 years ago, not bigger.
When Iva and Renato, in 2022, decided to embark on the journey of creating the place that is now Zori Timeless Hotel, they had to work within the constraints of the old pension built at the time of their grandparents. What some would view as a limit, they saw as an opportunity to create a place unlike anywhere else. Generations of hospitality experience taught them what guests actually look for. Privacy, premium hospitality, attention to detail.
After two years of meticulous planning and construction, based on the sketches of local architects from the nearby city of Split, four residences saw the light of day. Each is unique in its design, and each has a story you learn when staying there.

Horizon is the first of the four. The one you don't share with anyone. 52 square metres inside, 75 on the terrace. This private oasis has it all: a private pool, a Jacuzzi, and an Adriatic view that makes every holiday before it feel like a draft. Horizon is built for two people who came here to disappear. The island makes sure they succeed.
Eternity gives you space to look inward. The most intimate one gives you your own walled Mediterranean garden of lavender and rosemary that smells like the island concentrated into one corner. Lounge in the Jacuzzi, read in the hammock, or simply exist on the fifty-square-meter terrace. You’ll find your spot.
Cloud is for the high-achievers, those who strive for more and want nothing less. The biggest residence and the best view of the bay. Choose between two pools, a secluded one on the terrace level, or bask in the sun on the rooftop pool with nothing standing in your view of one of the prettiest bays on the island. Two bedrooms, 90 square metres inside and 110 on the terrace, enough space for everyone to experience the vacation to the fullest. With an outdoor kitchen, family dinners are a breeze, and a sea-facing pool gives you a place to bask in the sun for however long you want. In parallel with the growth of the hotel, Zori Timeless Restaurant also grew. The same one that fed sailors for decades is now elevated to be on par with the luxury of the residences, without sacrificing the soul that kept it in business for all these years.

What they bring to the table is the creative reinterpretations of classic, traditional Dalmatian dishes, where only the highest quality ingredients from throughout Croatia are combined perfectly with local organic produce.
